Remove the stock kidneys
Pop the hood, unclip the original grille panels using the included plastic tool. They come out in under 5 minutes.

Slot in the LED kidneys
Align the new grilles with the factory mounting points. The pre-installed clips guide them in until they click flush.

Plug in the harness
Connect the included T-harness to the front parking light. Tuck the wiring behind the bumper trim. Done.

Will this fit my exact 7 Series model?
Yes — this grille is engineered specifically for the BMW 7 Series G11 and G12, covering both Pre-LCI (2016–2019) and LCI (2019–2022) generations. If you’re unsure which version you have, send us your VIN and we’ll confirm the fit before you order.
Do I need to code anything via OBD?
No. The LED module taps directly into the front parking light circuit and runs its own controller. No coding, no software updates, no Bimmercode required.
Will it throw a fault code or warning light?
No. We use a load resistor built into the harness so the car never sees a missing-bulb fault. Your dashboard stays clean.
How long until I get mine?
Each grille is made-to-order. Production takes 3–4 weeks from the day you place your order, plus 2–4 working days of shipping. We’ll email you a tracking link the moment your unit leaves our facility.
What if it’s damaged or doesn’t fit?

Is the chrome the same shade as my factory grille?
Yes. The chrome variant is colour-matched to the OEM bright-chrome finish used on G11/G12 7 Series models. The gloss black variant matches the M-Sport Shadowline trim.
